Join Dr. Lore Kiefert, a renowned gemmologist with over 30 years of experience, for a half-day workshop on the identification and analysis of natural and synthetic gems. The workshop will focus on the “Big 3” gems: emerald, ruby, and sapphire, and will cover topics such as the detection of synthetic and treated stones, as well as techniques for determining the origin of a gem. Dr. Kiefert will provide hands-on instruction using standard instruments, and participants will have the opportunity to work with samples.
The workshop will take place on February 3rd, 2023 from 1:30-5:30 PM MT at the AGTA Tucson Show in the Mohave room. The cost for the workshop is $300 (euros). Participants will receive a “Letter of Attendance” signed by Branko Deljanin.
