I come to you after nearly 30 years of service as a Professional Gemmologist. My top level gem testing, research, and training experience in three major gemmological laboratories places me in a very fortunate position.
The vast knowledge I gained about testing gemstones, specifically rubies, sapphires and emeralds for origin and treatments will not be lost! I now offer my own consulting services with the opening of my own Gemmological Consulting Company, Dr. Lore Kiefert Gemmology Consulting.
The idea for this came after I received several requests for help with instrument running procedures and data interpretation, both concerning inclusions or spectra.
I am thrilled to be able to offer my services, advice and knowledge to the trade and gemmologists alike.
